Created on this day in the year 1967, ASEAN was initially preceded by five countries namely Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia... Later on, this Association got expanded with the inclusion of Brunei in the year 1984, Vietnam in the year 1995, Laos and Myanmar in the year 1997 and Cambodia in the year 1999...
Gained in confidence, today ASEAN was well recognized across World countries...
The Association's 48th year year anniversary was commemorated by the Postal Administrations of the ASEAN countries with the release of Joint Postage Stamps in the year 2015...
