7-February... Launching of Soyuz-24 Space mission...

 


As a part of Soviet Union's Space program to the Salyut-5 Space station, Soyuz-24 was launched on this day (7-Feb) in the year 1977 with two cosmonauts Viktor Gorbatko and Yuri Glazkov...

To commemorate the Soyuz-24 launch with two cosmonauts, Soviet Union Postal Administration released a 10-Russian kopek postage stamp in the year 1977...

The stamp features Spacecraft Soyuz-24 on the background of the Cosmetic globe and the portrait images of two cosmonauts Viktor Gorbatko and Yuri Glazkov...
